'Family Pictures' is an exhibition of photographs drawn from The Guggenheim's permanent collection.
The work of 16 prominent photographers is on display, so although you won't find a running style through the exhibition, you'll be hard pressed to not find something you like.
For photography lovers, this exhibition is a must. With the work of photographers of such a high caliber, Nan Goldin and Robert Mapplethorpe to name just two, even if you don't like the work, at least you can say you've seen it. An analysis of some of the work can be found in the Village Voice review.
